Vivid Projects – 2017 Programme Highlights

Vivid Projects has announced its 2017 programme highlights, featuring exhibition and events that delve into net art and technological obsolescence, open archives and live art research and experimentation.

Launching on Digbeth First Friday 5 May with Dot.Art – exploring the internet as a medium and site for art from the 1990s through to the present day. The season will feature artworks from the first wave of Net.Art alongside more recent projects produced since the rise of web 2.0, social networks and easily accessible search engines.

Following on from the programme launch, Vivid Live will begin in July and will evolve through 2017 to present challenging new work and unique events for daring audiences.

Other events include the regular Black Hole Club, No Copyright Infringement Intended in September, and Videotheque which will straddle October and November.
