Trainspotting in Digbeth

When: Wednesday 23 March – Saturday 2 April
Where: Rainbow Venues, Unit 5, Lower Trinity Street, Digbeth, B9 4AG
Tickets: from £15 (info here)

Following last week’s news that filming for the long-awaited sequel to 90s cult classic Trainspotting has officially begun, fans of the book/film can watch it played out live in Digbeth later this month.

The shocking and gritty production of Irvine Welsh’s novel will be performed under the suitably atmospheric railway arches on Lower Trinity Street. With an age restriction of 16+, the play is not for the easily-offended, centring on a group of heroin addicts in Edinburgh and London.
