The Myths of Halloween

Halloween is said to have originated in Ireland as Oiche Shamhna.

Birmingham Irish Heritage Group present their latest evening discussion, entitled The Myths of Halloween, led by Dr Deirdre O’Byrne.

Dr O’Byrne will explore how Halloween is represented by Irish writers, while also attempting to answer questions such as: why do we dress up, bob for applies, eat Barm Brack?
