I went to the Farshad Sanaee exhibition in the Custard Factory’s gallery to find the artist himself there, who proceeded to walk me around all the pieces and talk me through them.  At first this felt a little awkward but then I told myself to stop being so bloody uptight and British, whipped my Flip out and told him to do it once more with feeling.  Here he is talking me through his favourite (excuse bad muzac) and my favourite (sperm meets egg).

Custard Factory linkage

As Created in Birmingham has noted, the Custard Factory blog is very busy now they’ve got more bloggers on the team.  I can barely keep up.  But here’s trying:

• Steve’s off to Mexico for charidee.  Dig deep, guys, all in a good cause.
• BCU have revamped their Media Talent Bank.
• The Theatre’s very busy, with performances from PILOT, 3Bugs Fringe Theatre and Birmingham University students.  If it all infects you with the acting bug you can audition for the Young Actors Company or take part in the Chuckles Comedy Workshops.
• The Gallery’s also got lots on, with ‘one for chocoholics and bird-fanciers everywhere’ Death by Chocolate and an exhibition of workby Farshad Sanaee.

I’ve been thinking ‘bloody hell, the Custard Factory’s busier than usual’. I suspect it’s not, it’s just that all the great stuff going on there is now getting posted on the blog. Great stuff!
