Sunday Classics – 14th November 2014

When: 14th November 2014, and every first and third Sunday of the month from 16:30 henceforth
Where: The Spotted Dog, 104 Warwick Street, Digbeth, B12 0NH

The first Sunday Classics took place at the Spotted Dog last weekend.

The free event showcased the talents of a variety of local opera singers and classical musicians, in the refreshingly unfamiliar environment of a pub.

Lucy Stabler – Spotted Dog employee, mezzo-soprano singer and organiser of the event – admitted that she was surprised by how well-attended and well-received the inaugural edition was:

I wasn’t expecting such a large crowd … The feedback I’ve got has been fantastic. It’s a really, really chilled out atmosphere, and it’s exactly what I wanted to happen.

The next Sunday Classics will take place on 16th November from 16.30pm. To find out more or even arrange to perform yourself, you can join the Sunday Classics Facebook page here.
