Storm Doris has clearly had an impact all around the country, but Digbeth was no exception…

The high winds caused parts of Cherish House’s roof to detach, which led to the decision to close-off part of Alcester Street for safety reasons from Thursday:

Legendary Digbeth institution Latifs also fell victim to Doris: after a window pane was dangerously dislodged, West Midlands Fire service made the decision to temporarily close part of Bordesley Street and remove the window before it (inevitably) fell to the ground:
