Birmingham Film Festival

When: Friday 25 – Sunday 27 November
Where: The Mockingbird Cinema, The Custard Factory, Gibb Street, Digbeth, B9 4AA

The Birmingham Film Festival returns next week, with three days of features, shorts and documentaries at its base at The Mockingbird Cinema in The Custard Factory.

The main programme of films will be accompanied by seminars, conventions and Q&As with special guests; a panel of special guest judges will review all the nominees and select the winners. Awards will be made at the Gala Awards Ceremony at the end of the festival, to which everyone is welcome to attend.

As well as being based in Digbeth, the festival has Steven Knight – a friend of ours – as its patron. Not only is Steven is the creator of Peaky Blinders, he is a highly respected screen writer and big supporter of the city.
