Sculptor Rich White is working on a special, one-off, newspaper about the Duddeston viaduct which runs through Digbeth. Unfinished and abandoned in 1848, the viaduct runs from Bordesley Station to the corner of Montague Road.

Viaduct will be a free publication containing a map, information and activities. The contents will be created through a series of conversations with Digbeth people. The project will culminate with a group walk from at A3 Project Space, Bowyer Street, Digbeth, in March 2014.

Rich is looking for information and about the Viaduct’s history as well as ideas about its future. If you have any knowledge or stories about the structure, overheard anecdotes, or information about attempted projects and abandoned ideas, do call Rich on 07812 444 612, or email via email
