A short sound based experimental piece of film that served as a site survey. This work was undertaken as an elective module at BIAD whilst I was studying Landscape Architecture. It explores the notion of the “palimpsest” and an auditory site survey for the complex and characterful area of canals in Digbeth, Birmingham. I recently revisited the are and it has changed a lot as part of the Eastside development. Thought I would dig this one out and share it with the world.
