Taking Control – West Midlands Gathering 2011, May 14th -15th, is a weekend of workshops and practical sessions aimed at creating a more unified West Midlands community of people and groups interested in actively pursuing democratic and liberating social change.
There will be a wide variety of workshops on offer, with topics ranging from alternative media to gender and sexuality, from food politics to setting up co-operatives. We aim to provide the space for people to meet, discuss, and plan how to take action.
The gathering is open to all and will represent a wide range of opinions, groups and people, however, its’ aims are explicitly anti-authoritarian and non-party political.
