I haven’t been to The Wagon & Horses for a while to see any gigs so on my last wander down there i was pleasantly suprised to see they’ve erected a funky new covered stage for the bands in the yard area (you would of thought i’d taken some pictures of this valuable new addition, unfortunately you thought wrong).
This weekend gives the venue opportunity to laugh in the face of the rain and show it off to full effect with a couple of gigs. First up on Friday is a benefit for The International Workers of the World ft. The Black Bombers, Dirty Revolution, Love Kate Kill George plus support and DJ, 8 till late £4:00 entry
while Saturday host’s a night of Silent Filter‘s summer Festival with a main stage AND an acoustic stage ft. The Fores, Kevin James Hadley, The Tones, Greenwood Park, Brains For Breakfast, Black Acid Band and many others (including another set from Love Kate Kill George). It’s part of of a three day event including gigs at Scruffy Murphys ( Thursday), Island Bar (Friday) and Sound Bar (Sunday). The Wagon gig kicks off at 3ish with FREE entry

Personally i can’t make the Friday gig but suggest you do if you can, hopefully see you at Saturdays bash
Midge x
