An Endless Supply issue 8 launch at The Anchor

On Saturday local art zine An Endless Supply launched Issue 8 at The Anchor.  It’s a monthly publication full of interesting artistic images and writings.  To mark the launch, The Anchor’s landlord Gerry laid on a special An Endless Supply ale – but only 145 pints.  This meant there wasn’t an endless supply of An Endless Supply, which made me snigger stupidly.

I was particularly grabbed by a piece of writing by Rhys Coren on the last but one page – artistic statement (work in progress), 2009.  Upon speaking to one half of An Endless Supply Robin Kirkham (the other half being Harry Blackett) I found out that Rhys is part of the Bristol-based zine InterCity MainLine – a ‘bi-monthly publication, reflecting on and collaborating with different artist-led initiatives across the UK.’  Anyway, it seems that the third issue of InterCity MainLine (‘coming soon!’) will be all about Birmingham after the gang paid us a weekend visit for The Event.  Which is interesting.

If you’re interested in contributing to An Endless Supply email anendlesssupply@gmail.com.  The deadline for Issue 9 is 13th Dec and Issue 10 the 10th Jan.
