On Sun 19th July I went to the official opening of the Margarett Rose Abri – a social enterprise in the old Post Office building on Cheapside, which will comprise of a cafe, an ironing and dry cleaning service and a Health Centre upstairs. The Health Centre will offer a midwife service, private dentist and GP (who I’m assured won’t charge extortionate rates). Above is a clip of Jean McCleod kicking things off. The Margarett Rose Abri building should be open in early August. Here’s some photos I took whilst there:
