The Hearing Aid: Cllr Martin Mullaney…genius. – I met The Baron and The Baroness last night. They’re lovely. They’ve even convinced me to go to real live music gig of ‘gay disco’. That’ll be fun. Anyway, here The Baron reacts to Councillor Martin Mullaney’s televised, ill-informed contribution to The Rainbow debate:
Shouldn’t our Councillors be trying to make our City a better, more vibrant and attractive place to live, work and visit? Shouldn’t they be standing up for a local business that helps some of our best new bands, DJ’s and promoters make a living? Shouldn’t they make the effort to find out the facts before making a lame ass appearance on local TV? I forward a motion to abate Cllr Mullaney.

Awww…bless you. You’re lovely too! Loved the Spotted Dog as well. A ‘proper’ pub. I gave you the wrong date for the gig (I’m rubbish at dates)…it’s actually the 16th July…and, after another listen, only one or two of their tracks have that ‘gay disco’ feel. I wouldn’t want to get done under the Gay Disco Descriptions Act. Anyway, it’ll be good, and you’ll get to see The Rainbow in full flow. Hope to see you there.
