Teens get stuck into books at The Custard Factory, Birmingham – On Monday 27th July the youth team behind Spinebreakers, Penguin’s teen online book community, will be taking the experience offline, hosting a day of creative workshops and entertainment for young people aged thirteen to eighteen at the The Custard Factory, Birmingham.

Young people will get the opportunity to create a variety of multi-media content around their responses to books with photography, film, graphic novel making and creative writing workshops from expert mentors. They will also have the chance to meet the critically-acclaimed author, Meg Rosoff, who will be reading from her multi-award winning novel How I Live Now and discussing life, the universe and everything else in between.
