Rea Garden pigeon loft

Secret Garden shed

The Behind Closed Doors Rea Garden on Floodgate Street has gained a pigeon loft, housed in a lovely bright shed surrounded by a flower bed – the hard work of current residents Ian England and Alex Lockett.  Ian said the pigeons are quite young at the moment, but when they grow up they’ll be carrying art from A to B.  Bless.

Birmingham artists Anne Guest and Helen Grundy are also working on a Charles Dawin inspired project in the space over the summer months. They will be hosting workshops and an exhibition in August of the work they create.
