February Residents’ Association Meeting and Big City Plan feedback

See below minutes of the Residents’ Association meeting on Monday.  Here’s a larger version.  Main topics discussed were:

  • Big City Plan – the minutes mention the plain English version on Big City Talk.  They also mention Joe Holyoak’s Big City Plan post as ‘essential reading’. Which it is.
  • John Tighe spoke about the stakeholder Big City Plan consultation meeting on the evening of Tues 10th Feb in the Paragon Hotel.  It will feature a presentation from Philip Singleton and/or Andrew Round (with an ‘approach to adopt plain language format, not jargon’) and workshops based on the areas of Highgate, Southside, Eastside and Digbeth.
  • Digbeth Residents can has a St Patrick’s Day Parade float! Join residents in the Spotted Dog, Warwick Street at 8pm on Mon 16th Feb to bash out some crazy ideas.
