The Reel Note at The Spotted Dog

Tomorrow evening Ceili band The Reel Note will be performing at The Spotted Dog, Alcester Street to launch their new album “Depends on the Speed of the Day”, which as well as some gorgeous traditional Irish music contains a detailed low-down of the pub’s recent noise abatement problems in the sleeve-note.

Reel Note play mainly traditional Irish music in a very personal and original style, with a few more modern borrowings. Their music is lively and authentic – Love the music, love to entertain – and appeals to all ages.

  1. Like the look of this. Is this on in the evening?
BTW can somebody have a word with them about their website.
Most pages just seem to say “Insert body text here…”

  2. On tomorrow evening, yep. I’ll let Katie know, as well a musician she’s a barmaid at the Spotted Dog. A busy, talented girl.
