Here’s a Birmingham City Council maintenance guy painting over the last of the prolific tagging on the wall I posted about here. I asked how long it will last before it’s covered with tags again and his guesstimate was a couple of hours to a couple of days.  Anyone who wants to paint a pretty, tag-proof mural on this wall like Newso needs to convince the good people at the city council, which I’m sure will be a simple and straightforward process.

If this wall is to be mural’ed I think it should definitely have involvement from more than one artist

if you see the size of the whole wall, i think you would need several artists on it! unfortunately bcc actively discourage streetart/graff in any projects they agree to.. so it may be a long time ’til you see this painted legally.. petitions anyone?

Hey check out our new wall on the swinging sporan in city centre.. right on the tony hancock roundabout! same artists as the painting on arches 5 and 6 down by the rainbow, cryse meks agent and myself.

    What is your opinion?
