The sheesha industry gets around the smoking ban by setting up in tents. This one’s in front of Arch 5-6 on the High Street, between the church that is Digbeth Tyres and The Rainbow. I’m sorry my photo doesn’t really do it justice but it smelt proper lush and the heaters made things toasty warm.

Looks a bit dubious to me (in a first-glance, kneejerk kinda way). I thought if a place has a roof and the walls make up 50% of the surroundings then it counts as a closed space and you can’t smoke there. I wouldn’t stake my reputation on it though.
I saw that construction appear over the last week and wondered what it was?.
