Latifs

Shopping in Digbeth is hard and I usually go into town or place an internet order for my supplies. But for emergencies it’s a bit of a nightmare. I’ve been known to feed my cats PAL meaty lamb chunks for want of a can of cat food and every Saturday I go to the newsagent’s in my pyjamas at the crack of dawn to enjoy my Guardian in bed. I dream of the oft-rumoured Digbeth Tesco Metro. Sad but true.

However, I’ll never want for pants, kitchenware, bleach, cheap electrical goods or figurines of any one of King Henry VIII’s wives thanks to Latifs wholesale store on Bordesley Street. I love going up and down the travelators with my trolley and can never resist saluting the Founding Father Mohammed Latif on my final descent to the ground floor:

Neither could I resist snapping these simply gorgeous blankets on sale:

A real winter warmer.

Love M Latif and Sons, all hail their two-piece pool cue special offers.

I like the boss-eyed tigers too.

  2. What are they sitting on? Sea? Clouds? Other-planetary-shit??

I have to always ask people if they bought a product from Latifs, “has it caught fire yet?”

Hooties is near to me as well as another Latifs. I think Hooties are more famous for their massive paddling pools.

the customer service isnt very good at latifs, neither are any of the managers i have spoken to when concering a refund or exchange at my nearest latif’s. Yes the prices may be cheap, but so r tha products- i purchased a microwave in which i had taken back 5 times to change due to a fault with each one i got given as a exchange. It took a lenghty arguement with the manager to get my money back!!!!
Other than electronical items all my bed line, curtains and mens clothin has been fantastic for the prices!!
