If you’re around Digbeth way this evening, make your way to The Rainbow as there’s some great bands playing in an evening of music described to me as ‘Misty’s music without Misty’s Big Adventure‘.
Northampton-based indie band The Retro Spankees headline and will be followed by music from The Sugarfoot Stomp DJ’s.
However the real pull for me is support act Kate Goes, who I’ve kind of fallen in love with after someone played me their gorgeous song Heartbeat. If you listen to this without going all gooey, you’re dead inside. It’s beautiful.
